Vicar Pleads Redgrave Amendment

That is, that an old fool who has said he will not compete in a sporting event ever again may do so.

Thus the vicar will run the 2001 Flora London Marathon on Sunday, April 22nd, fitness permitting - if not, this attempt will be put off for a year. The charity, for the fourth successive year, will be the Arthritis Research Campaign.

Doo Doo Alert

The Recreation Trust committee has been told that there is a lot of dog muck being left on the playing field again. Please clear up after your dog and put the muck in the bins provided or take it home and dispose of it. If you see someone from outside the village at fault please tell them where the bins are.

The next Recreation Trust meeting will be on 13 March.

Brian Tansley.

The Village Path

There will be a meeting in the Cricket Pavilion at 7.30 pm on Thursday 8th March to discuss how best to build the proposed footpath across the playing field between the Village Hall and Robletts Way.

If you can offer help, advice or ideas, or if you are able to volunteer with the actual construction, please come to the meeting. All are welcome.
